 WORD OF GOD SPEAK

I'm finding myself at a loss for words
And the funny thing is it's okay
The last thing I need is to be heard
But to hear what You would say
Word of God speak
Would You pour down like rain
Washing my eyes to seeYour majesty
To be still and know
That You're in this place
Please let me stay and rest
In Your holinessWord of God speak
I'm finding myself in the midst of You
Beyond the music, beyond the noise
All that I need is to be with You
And in the quiet hear Your voice
Word of God speak
Would You pour down like rain
Washing my eyes to seeYour majesty
To be still and know
That You're in this place
Please let me stay and rest
In Your holiness
Word of God speak
Word of God speak
Would You pour down like rain
Washing my eyes to seeYour majesty
To be still and know
That You're in this place
Please let me stay and rest
In Your holiness
Word of God speak
I'm finding myself at a loss for words
And the funny thing is it's okay

Few songs move me like this song does. It is a song about prayer. Word of God Speak! Isn't that what we are all longing for? To hear from God and as the song says "stay and rest in Your holiness". My favorite thing to do is crawl up in God's lap, lay my head on His chest, tell Him about my day, about my prayer requests and then listen to Him. I love Him so much that I talk to Him all day. It ranges from small things; praising Him for the rain, beauty of a flower or the rain; or it may be something big like; pain relief, satan's attacks, work issues. God is in the small stuff and the big stuff. Try for one day to keep the lines of communication open all day. You don't have to start each time with a "Dear God" opening or close with "Amen". I start my day with prayer and throughout the day I just talk to Him as I would to someone in the room with me (sometimes out loud and sometimes in my head). Good luck.

If you have a prayer request either email me, at the address to the left, or click the prayer request icon above.

Dear Sweet Heavenly Father,

Give ears to hear Your voice and the patience to wait in the stillness.
Let us rest in Your holiness. Word of God speak.

Amen
